The Learned Society of KUL has published the latest translation of the Roman epic The Aeneid. This world-class work by Virgil was translated into Polish by Robert R. Chodkowski, a Greek drama researcher, an expert on the language and literature of ancient Greece, and the translator of all extant Attic tragedies by three outstanding Athenian tragedians: Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. Recently, Chodkowski also translated the Iliad and the Odyssey. We trust that a contemporary-language reading the fate of Aeneas will allow you to reread the message contained in Virgil’s epic and help you explore European literary heritage. LINK
