Activities

“The objective of the Learned Society is academic activity in line with the profile of the Catholic University of Lublin” (from the Statute of TN KUL, § 4)

The objective specified in § 4 of the Statute is pursued by the Society by, for example: conducting, organizing and supporting academic research, organizing scientific meetings, symposia, congresses, various presentations, lectures and publishing all types of scientific works. The Society cooperates with other societies and academic institutions.

Research Projects

Research projects carried out under the Society’s patronage are an important way to fulfill the Society’s stated purpose of academic activity, as defined in its statute. Currently, these projects are based on grants awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Science Centre.

Publishing activity

According to the Statute, one of the main aims of the Society is to publish the academic output of the Society members, and works of other authors (Polish and foreign).

Conferences

Since its inception, the Learned Society of KUL has been organizing or supporting the organization of public lectures and academic sessions gathering audiences of scientists and people from outside the academia.
