We are deeply saddened to inform that Professor Antoni B. Stępień passed away on 28 January 2026, aged 94. He was an active member of the Learned Society of KUL, its vice-president in 1981–1989, and the Society’s long-time board member. Professor Stępień was awarded the Reverend Idzi Radziszewski Award in 2009. He was also a member of the Editorial Board of the Catholic Encyclopedia and a long-time Editor-in-Chief of Roczniki Filozoficzne (Annals of Philosophy). He authored many of the Society’s outstanding philosophical publications.
