On October 22, 2025, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin hosted the academic conference “The Lublin Region in Historical and Regional Research”, organized by the Learned Society of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Department of the History of Education, Care, and Social Pedagogy, KUL.
During the event a jubilee book was presented to Professor Marian Surdacki, President of the Learned Society of KUL. The ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of the Lublin academic community, representatives of local authorities of Lublin, Urzędów, and the Lublin Voivodeship.
