On July 30th, members od the Board and the editorial office participated in a short pilgrimage. They began by visiting the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kraśnik. Father Jerzy Zamorski, the parish priest, spoke about the history and interior of the church, as well as the activities of the Canons Regular, who worked in Kraśnik for over 400 years. Next, the participants traveled to Księżomierz, where they visited the site of the apparitions of Our Lady, the local church, and the rose garden. The curator of the sanctuary, Father Józef Hałabis, explained the history of the apparitions and led a prayer. Afterward, the shared meal also provided an opportunity to honor recent birthday celebrations: Rev. Prof. Czesław Krakowiak, Treasurer of the Society, and Anna Maćkowska-Bielewicz, Editorial Director. The final stop was a visit to Urzędów, a town with over 600 years of history, where we were guided by Professor Marian Surdacki, President of the Society. At the end of the busy day came the time to relax, chat, and have fun by the fire.
